Sponsorships für animals Our dogs Rocky and Aslan

At the Lissi Lüdemann House at the Weidefeld Animal Welfare Center, our experienced staff train shelter dogs in need of help who show behavioral problems. Usually because people have previously treated them badly. The long-term goal is for the dogs to learn to trust again and then be placed with suitable owners.

Two of them are our sponsored dogs Rocky and Aslan, who we would like to introduce to you here:

Aslan Staffordshire mix

Aslan, the handsome Staffordshire mix, was born in 2013. He has been living with us in Weidefeld since November 2019. His first owners bought him online, but soon handed him in at the animal shelter because his high potential for aggression was too much for them.

Aslan's development since he was taken in at Lissi Lüdemann House has been very positive. His relationship of trust with the animal keepers has developed well, he has become much more relaxed and walks well on a lead. Thanks to regular clicker training, he can now do commands such as sit, down and heel. However, the therapy is not yet complete, because unfortunately Aslan is not yet very confident in contact with other dogs. In addition, Aslan has had some very bad experiences with the muzzle and we have had to come up with some ideas for muzzle training to make him forget them.

Support the lively Aslan with a sponsorship. With your help, we can continue to finance Aslan's therapy, which will hopefully soon enable him to have friendly contact with his peers.
