The non-profit "Foundation of the German Animal Welfare Federation" has the task of sustainably supporting the German Animal Welfare Federation and its member organizations in fulfilling their charitable tasks. It also supports projects for research into methods that replace animal testing.
As the German Animal Welfare Federation finances its work for animals almost exclusively from the contributions of its supporting members, donations and bequests, it also relies on the income from the German Animal Welfare Federation Foundation to ensure that it can fulfill its statutes. This gives us more planning security, as the foundation's investment income can be planned for the long term to help animals.
Time and again, animal lovers donate to the German Animal Welfare Federation Foundation through their estates. However, donations to the foundation's assets or, for example, the establishment of a trust foundation are also possible during your lifetime.
