Four-legged friends conquer the offices "Colleague dog" campaign day

Our action day, which takes place every summer, will be held on June 5, 2025. The aim of the animal taster day, which is supported by the food brand Cesar, is to give employees the opportunity to take their dogs to work with them. The idea behind it: Pet-friendly companies, or those who want to become one, will find out what everyday office life with a dog could be like on this taster day. The dog also benefits, as it can be with its owner the whole time.

Good for humans and animals

For many dogs , it is ideal if they can accompany their owner to the office, as they do not have to wait alone at home for their return or have to be taken to a (cost-intensive) kennel. At the same time, studies show that dogs in the workplace boost employee satisfaction, motivation and the working atmosphere. A win-win-win situation for animals, people and employers - as long as it is implemented carefully and the needs of the animal are taken into account.

Dogs in the workplace promote employee satisfaction and motivation and improve the working atmosphere.

HOW TO SUCCEED IN EVERYDAY OFFICE LIFE WITH FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS

Of course, the prerequisite for bringing a dog is always that both the line manager and all direct colleagues agree. Employees who do not have a dog themselves can then discover the benefits of having a four-legged friend and overcome their fear of contact. Just like their human colleagues, "colleague dog" should of course also feel comfortable in the office. Only in this way can the animal taster day be a success for both sides and help man's most loyal friend to gain greater acceptance in day-to-day working life.
